A Small Haul!

So I went to Park towers yesterday with my mom for some shopping and got myself a few things. Hope you ladies enjoy this haul post. I'm already late at so many reviews which I have to do but I just can't get myself to sit and write about my purchases lately. Have loads of reviews coming up next week, inshaAllah :)

Here are the pictures of products I purchased from Park Towers.

These Loafer shoes from English Boot House (EBH), Rs.600. Yes, you read that right, rs.600, only :)

These beautiful big earrings from Sentiments, Rs. 1450. I loveeeee jewelry from Sentiments, do check it out if you girls haven't.

This beautiful ring also from Sentiments, Rs.350

This iphone 5 case was my mom's choice and I really like it. This was for Rs.1000.

And finally my favorite powder foundation in the whole world, The Body Shop All in one face Base in 03. By far the best I have used, its matte, doesn't make my face oily, stays on for up to 4 5 hours easily. Easy to carry, can be used as a full coverage foundation. Love it! The only downside is its price , Rs.2450 isn't an easy amount to pay for a powder foundation, but when you love something and know it works for you best, you have to do it, girls.

I will be doing my January favorites post soon and also some reviews from my last January Haul post are in order. Hope you liked this ladies! xx

The Great Expectations Tag!

I'm super duper late at this. I was tagged in this post by The Beauty Finds, http://thebeautyfinds.blogspot.com/, here is her blog link. Do check her out, I love her and her blog:)
Many thanks to her for tagging me in this, its just a way to get to know me better. I will try my best to tag five new bloggers who I follow, although I'm very late and most of them have already written their tag posts.
Bia has some very interesting questions for me.
Here they are and my answers to them.

Bad Beauty habit to get rid of this year?
I think the only bad habit I should get rid of this year is how i spend money like water. I can't help it, but I think I should start saving up a little than just spending everything on things I want and don't need. Just as I'm writing my answer to this I realize how terrible my thumb nails look like. I need to stop biting my thumb nails!

Beauty Secret to add this year?
I'm trying very hard to take of my skin as much as I can this year. So I think some good face products for my skin type and taking care of it more. I'm planning on investing more on skin care this year than makeup, which obviously is impossible because buying makeup is well...just more fun. I want to get my hands on Kojic acid soap, have heard great reviews about it for skin whitening, to invest in Bio oil for my acne scars, also try out some home remedies like banana peels for acne scars. So many other things are already on my list.

Last years Beauty favorites?
I have already done a post on my favorites from last year. Here is the link :) http://lailamehkri.blogspot.com/2014/01/my-2013-beauty-favorites-too-late-but.html

Beauty/Body goal of 2014?
Well, I'm not an exrcise person at all, but I can starve myself, I know it sucks, but I cant help it. I just dont get time to exercise. I have stopped eating sweet stuff, I say no to chocolates and everything sweet in general. Just the normal home made food and I'm more than happy.

Last year's biggest fashion mistake/regret?
I don't do fashion mistakes, no I'm not saying my style is amazing but I'm more of a safe player when it comes to fashion. I wear what I think will look good on me , if I don't like something whether its the biggest fashion thing I wouldn't go for it at all. I like to dress according to my body. I'm very tall and broad, I try to wear things which look good on my body type. I love handbags, jewelry, watches and always get things which I know I can wear with confidence. No regrets for me when it comes to fashion ;)

This year's fashion trend prediction?
Lets start with the clothes first, Hound tooth print has been so in this year, Lace pieces on collar shirts, Blazer jackets my favvvv! Big statement necklaces on plain shirts with round necks are love! Loafer shoes! I need to get myself a pair of loafers! get them studded or get them plain, they are here to stay this year. Printed silk scarves on plain shirts. Denim on denim. More pastels this spring. Big wrist watches aren't going anywhere. Color blocking is going to be big, cobalt with yellow looks fab by the way. and yellow with white. White with red. Go on and experiment what you like, if you fail, it's only result in a little piece of regret in the above question, trust me:) messenger handbags, so easy to carry to college, I'm not a big handbags girl nor do I like studs on my handbag, its only because I'm not comfortable in carrying them but if you like them/ want them, go ahead because they are here to stay. Get yourself a big studded Micheal Kors handbag, because you deserve one.

This year's fashion must have?
Printed skinny pants on plain shirts. Loafer shoes. Blazer jackets of your choice.
These are on my must have list this year.

This year's key resolution?
Lose weight, look hot, take amazing pictures of yourself with that new dslr camera you got, baby. Work hard on studies. And love yourself as much as you can. My resolution <3

Any advice for 2014?
My advice to all of you is that please love yourself, the more you love yourself the more you will start loving the people around you. Stop stressing over things like, weight, husbands fighting issues, horrible aunties and uncles in your families, over money issues, put needs over wants then decide, put yourself over everything else then decide, trust me the more you start thinking about yourself and not others, you will feel your best and look your best. In the end you're who you got for yourself so take care of yourself.

have to tag five ladies, not sure if they have already been tagged or not. Here they are:)

This is my beautiful Asos handbag which I ordered, it is so gorgeous, I just cant get over it.

I carry this bag whenever I go for a hangout, took this to college once then decided I should not waste this bag because Civil hospital ruins everything I own. So I kept it for only when I'm hanging out with friends and family.

I ordered this through a facebook page called The Bling World. Love that girl and how quickly she ordered this bag for me right away! :D I'm planning on ordering mobile phone covers and bags from her all  the time now!

My 2013 Beauty Favorites! ( Too late, but here it is )

I know, I'm super duper late at this -_-
I have had a tough week because of so many things happening in my life right now!
My 4th year of medicine started last week, I have been busy with the clinicals, my laptops screen ribbon broke and my internet sucks these days :(
Too many excuses? I have had the most interesting start to the New year and I'm happy. My college life is great and personal life is too cute to be true at the moment :)

Here I present to you my last years beauty favorites!
I just took the clicks in a hurry, I hope the pictures don't disappoint you, girlies..
Please enjoy ;)

not all the products I love from last year are in this picture
keep scrolling down for more my lovelies

Lets start with the products in the order I apply them onto my face

Monistat Chafing Gel: My favorite face primer!

Physiogel cream: best, bestestttt face moisturizer I've ever used! and trust me I have tried quite a few.

Revlon colorstay liquid foundation in Buff: hey, this product deserves to be in my 'Can't live without' post! It is just love! all time favorite foundation for formal events!

The Bodyshop Radiant highlighter: This was my first highlighter which I got only because I could not afford a high end liquid highlighter maybe? Trust me, this mixed with Revlon colorstay is Heaven! gives the most amazing glow to my skin. Love, love, love this product!

Kryolan Tv paint stick in Ivory: I use this as an undereye concealer when I apply my bodyshop all in one face base on normal hangouts with friends because I don't like to use my Revlon liquid foundation in day time.

Kryolan Tv paint stick in 3W: I use this when I wear my Revlon colorstay at formal events, sounds weird why I do this thing with my two different shades of tv paint sticks...I'm still trying to understand why i do this... Buttt, these are love! Once you get the hold of how to use cream concealers under your eyes, you will know their importance, my lady!

The Bodyshop Loose powder in #2: if you need a brightening undereye powder which is easily available in Karachi, this is your bet! I love this product, not even as an all over face powder but it works wonders as a brightening undereye concealer setting powder.

The Bodyshop All in one face base in 03: This is the love of my life! I will try others, don't worry....but i'll always compare them to this!

Face Brushes: Elf Face brush for blending everything out!
Sigma f80: my new love for applying foundation :D
Karaja foundation brush: my old love, which im still in love with, but I have just been using sigma f80 more now.

Nars Laguna bronzer: for scuplting your face for those sculpted sexy cheek bones.

Blushes: Mac Well dressed: When I can't think of anything to wear with a heavy heavy eye makeup, this is my bet! I just love the color!
Victoria Secrets Luminous Mineral blush in Starlet: My favorite pink blush for when I'm feeling all fresh and want to spread some love around.
Milani baked blush in Luminoso: This is my bush for life! The moment I put this on the first time, I fell head over heels. Can't live without this!

Mac MSF in Soft and Gentle: I love, love this golden champagne highlighter to death! apply right where you want the glow and see your yourself in the mirror with a JLo glow.

My favorite eye shadow palettes from last year and obviously most used ones :)

Urban Decay Ammo Palette: love everything about this palette!

Urban Decay Naked palette: I love the transition colors in this palette, Naked and Buck. Love the darker shades for the outer V. And ofcourse the golden shade for when I want an amazing shaadi/dawat look!

Kat Von D True Romance eye shadow palette in Saint: I have used this palette the most! Love every color from this palette, altho there are no transition colors in the palette so I had to use Naked from the UD Naked palette for almost every look which I did from this palette. The champagnes and pinks are beautiful, the darker colors are great too!

Luscious Eye Brushes: The only two brushes I fell in love with, out of the whole luscious 12 piece brush set. And the bad news is I don't know what their numbers or names are. One is a big blending brush which I use to apply my transition colors above my crease and also use it to blend any harshness in my eye makeup especially when I want a smokey look. The other one is what I use to apply champagne highlight colors to my tear duct areas with to make my eyes pop and look wide awake.

Loreal Voluminous Ultra Collagen mascara: My life saver! need I say more?

UD glide on eye pencil in Rockstar and Dimolition : I love to use this because I'm not a fan of black eye liners anymore. I like my eyes subtle and nice without much definition.

Rimmel Kohl pencil in Black: I wear glasses to my college so I don't really wear alot of makeup when I'm on the go. I just like to wear this on my botton lash line and I'm done with my eyes.

Catrice eye pencil in White: I heard great reviews about this pencil and I wanted to try a white pencil for my waterline. Tried this and fell in love! it stays on forever.

Time for my Lippies!

Labello lip balm: when I'm at home, I wear this, and love it so much!

Lip pencils: NYX lip pencil in Nude Pink (best when I want to apply light pinks and nudes)
Acme lip pencil in Enamel Red (best when I apply my corals )

Lipsticks: Mac lipstick in Please me : favorite muted pink for when there is a lot going on on my eyes.
Revlon lipbutters in Pink Truffle and Berry Smoothie: Favorite lip products from last year! The only downside is their wear time! These two shades are LOVE!
Diana of London Pure addiction lipstick in Rambutan: my favorite and most used orange lipstick from last year.

Lip glosses: MUA lipgloss in #4: my go to lip gloss and the only pigmented one out of this MUA lip gloss range. the pigmentation, the texture, everything is just amazing! but the other ones which I got from the same range were zero pigmented and only good for when I want the shine to add onto my matte lipsticks.

Victoria Secrets lip gloss in Glow: its a nude beige lip gloss but doesn't show much color when applied. I love to use this ontop of my matte nude/pink lipsticks. love the smell and the taste of this!

makeup doesn't end without a makeup setting spray for me!
Kryolan Makeup Setting Spray: I only use this during summers for when I really need to hold my makeup in place. In winters I prefer just to moisturize and prime my face nicely and not use any mattifying face mist because my skin is already very dry.

Can't believe I finally completed this post! I'm so sorry for being so lost. This first week of college has been so hectic for me!

Lots of love! xx
